This nervous woman is Cornelia Hawthorne. It’s been a while since people have heard her sing, but she is still regarded as the Former Ultimate Opera Singer. She got her title for her incredible range and her ability to hold a note for almost half a minute.
Nowadays though, her fame is shadowed by a traumatic event she went through in one of her performances. Cornelia had been the star of many plays due to her talent and recent title. This had landed her another big opportunity. During the opening night, she and another cast member in her play got into a fight which ended with Cornelia’s skull caving in from a hit with a heavy stage prop. Though she survived, irredeemable damage had been inflicted on her brain which developed into aphasia. She hasn’t performed since.
Cornelia is European, but she moved to Japan when she was given the opportunity to attend Hope's Peak. She decided to stay in the country after her study had ended. Even in the country Cornelia comes from, she is considered very tall. She towers over everyone else with her height of 224cm. She used to love being the center of attention, but after the incident, her personality took a turn and she became more withdrawn and skittish.
